Duet Table Lamp in Obsidian
Obsidian takes its name from volcanic glass, formed when lava cools so quickly it turns jet black and mirror-bright. On this lamp the slip cast base is split down the middle: one half hand-painted in glossy black glaze, the other left as raw brown clay, so the polish and the earth sit side by side.
It’s topped with a brass disc, ball, and stem that will soften and patina over time, and finished with a natural linen shade.
